Job Summary
As the chef, you will play a crucial role direct the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of Chinese salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foods. Plan and price menu items, orders supplies, and keep records and accounts. Participate in cooking and baking and the preparation of foods.
- Minimum Qualification : Certificate
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
- Supervises the kitchen’s operation and hygiene of the place
- Order or requisition food and other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation.
- Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards
- Quality and portion control of food.
- Control purchase of dried goods and fresh products.
- Maintain good relationship with all Chinese managers.
- Direct the preparation of food
- Cooking of salads as per request of the managers
- Plan and price menu items
- Orders supplies from the administrator and be part of purchase of food supplies
- Keep records of all supplies.
- Supervises and participate in cooking and baking at the kitchen
