We are Hiring.
Command Security Services is a total security solutions company registered and licensed to operate in Uganda as a private security organization by respective authorities.
To meet the demands of clients and the company's projected growth, we are seeking to recruit highly qualified and motivated individuals with demonstrable experience in managing security operations and high integrity for the following position:

Chief Operations Officer
The holder will be responsible for directing the overall operational functions and management of the delivery of security services to clients. The position holder shall supervise the day-to-day operational functions, line manage the operations teams set out within CSS structure (Area supervisors, area managers, deployment officers, and others). The holder will also be responsible for business generation, personnel planning, training, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
• To oversee day-to-day security operations of deployment and supervision of security personnel.
• To perform assignment spot checks and ensure that all security personnel understand and are undertaking their duties.
• Oversee compliance of security personnel recruitment with established company policies and standards.

• Ensure all assignment instructions are followed and adhered to by security personnel.
• Oversee investigations of incidents and prepare incident reports within 24 hours.
• Ensure clients’ complaints, requests, complaints, and suggestions are addressed within 24hrs.
• Oversee the review of personnel schedules and ensure schedules and off-duty arrangements.
• Completing risk assessments and site evaluations as well as compiling monthly performance reports and billing schedules.
• Complete clients’ health and safety assessments, ensuring immediate and timely reporting of any incidents that involve injury to persons or damage to property in line with health & safety commitments.
• Acting as a role model and always behaving in line with our company values.
• Driving employee engagement by personal interaction and engagement with your team in order to develop and coach them in their duties and responsibilities.
• Ensuring all aspects of the required security services are being delivered to the customers' satisfaction and in accordance with the contract.
• Developing professional customer relationships, responding appropriately to customer requests and concerns.
• Ensure retention of existing business and scouting for new clients.
• Oversee the training of security guards and ensure standards are adhered to.
• Continuously assess manpower needs and ensure proactive action is taken to avoid man-power shortages.
• Ensuring there are sufficient trained, licensed, and vetted staff working at all times to meet customer and contract requirements.
• Ensuring contract required training and screening/vetting has been conducted.

Qualifications
We are looking for a mature, competent, and dedicated individual with solid experience in security management, outstanding diplomatic and negotiating skills, and understanding of key business issues. This is a senior-level position which requires sound experience in personnel management and ability to handle pressure.
