Job Summary: The job holder is responsible for ensuring the overall control and direction is maintained at all times in line with the operations and policies of the Institution. She / He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the support units to ensure efficiency.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Outputs and Performance Indicators
- Strategic Planning – Ensure effective control and operational strategy aligned with the institution's mission and vision.
- Strategy Implementation – Oversee the rollout and continuous review of strategies.
- Policy & Procedure Formation & Implementation – Develop policies and procedures that align with best practices and meet all regulatory standards.
- Oversight of Functions – Implement effective control measures to minimize errors, fraud, and exceptions.
- Operational Efficiency & Business Performance – Optimize operations, manage costs effectively, and enhance overall business performance.
- Public Image Management – Maintain a positive public image.
Problem solving and decision-making:
• All operational issues at management level as mandated by the MD
• Approve some expenditure based on budgeted amounts
• Relevant Policy reviews, formulation and implementation
• Analyse information and data points to ensure that processes and employees are bolstering overall performance.
Education Requirements, Skills and Experience
• A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a business-related field
preferably a Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration or Information Technology.
• Possess professional qualifications in banking, accounting or financial management; and Membership of a relevant professional body.
• A minimum of ten years’ experience in providing financial, banking and/or credit management services, five of which must be at a Senior Management level with a demonstrated track record in delivering strategic initiatives;
