Job Summary: We’re looking for a highly skilled Chief Metallurgical Engineer with a Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in the gold mining industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the metallurgical team, optimizing plant performance, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the metallurgical team to achieve production targets and optimize plant performance.

• Develop and implement metallurgical strategies to improve gold recovery and reduce costs.

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in gold mining industry, preferably in a similar role.

• Proven track record of optimizing plant performance and improving gold recovery.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
