Job Title: Chief Mechanic/Service Advisor

Key Responsibilities:

• • Supervision: Oversees the work of mechanics and technicians, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are completed to standards.
  • Maintenance Management: Develops and implements maintenance schedules for equipment and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnoses complex mechanical issues and determines the best course of action for repairs.
  • Training and Development: Provides training for new employees and ongoing education for the team to keep up with industry advancements.
  • Quality Control: Ensures all repairs and maintenance work meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Budgeting: Assists in budget planning for maintenance activities and oversees expenditures to stay within budget.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensures that all operations comply with safety regulations and promotes a safe working environment.
  • Communication: Acts as a liaison between management, clients, and team members to facilitate smooth operations and address concerns.
  • Reporting: Prepares reports on maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status for management review.

Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: Advanced Certificate in automotive technology or related field. • Experience: not less than seven years in the automotive industry or any related field.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Leadership skills to foster teamwork and maximize the potential of the team.
• Ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
