Description

This role is responsible for determining the investment strategy of the Fund’s portfolio. The CIO will manage the investment portfolio under the following considerations: liquidity, time horizon, regulatory restrictions, tax and unique circumstances.

Responsibilities or duties:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year, multi-asset class and multi-country investment strategy
  • Recommend the Investment Policy and strategy to the Board
  • Monitor and anticipate global macro-economic, geopolitical, and market developments
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain robust risk management frameworks
  • Lead the development of investment risk management models
  • Create and maintain a team of professionals
  • Build, lead, and mentor a world-class investment team
  • Regularly present investment strategies, performance, and risks to the Board
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and fiduciary obligations
  • Take a leadership role in the selection, evaluation, and sourcing of external consultants

Qualifications or requirements:

  • Advanced university degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, or FRM

Experience needed:

A minimum of 12 years’ experience in investment management with significant exposure to multi-asset classes
