Job Summary:   As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zeenode Ltd you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to drive the company’s continued success and growth.

Job Purpose: Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee all aspects of the business, including operations, sales, marketing, product development, and finance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in the software industry, with a deep understanding of the technology landscape.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan to achieve growth objectives and maximize market potential.
• Lead and mentor the executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives to expand market share and increase revenue streams with an outlook to the African Market.
• Oversee product development efforts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
• Establish strong relationships with  key  stakeholders,  including  educational institutions, government agencies, and industry partners.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and other networking opportunities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of executive leadership in the software industry, preferably within the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and technology trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment, preferably in East Africa.
• Knowledge of Regional business environment and regulatory framework is desirable.
