JOB DETAILS:

  • Job Summary: To manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauces, grill, pantry), preparing all dishes from that section according to the Executive Chef's standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare, cook, and present dishes assigned to your section.
    • Supervise Commis Chefs in your section.
    • Manage food stock and wastage for your section.
    • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Qualifications:
    • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
    • Excellent knowledge of specific cuisine and cooking methods for the section.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a hot, busy environment.
    • Culinary school diploma is preferred.
