Job duties:
Meal Planning & Preparation
- Design and execute weekly menus covering local and continental cuisines.
- Ensure all meals meet the dignitary’s dietary requirements, health needs, and preferences.
- Prepare meals for official functions, private events, and guests as required.
Food Sourcing & Kitchen Management
- Procure high-quality ingredients, focusing on freshness, safety, and nutritional value.
- Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, hygiene, and proper food storage.
- Maintain kitchen equipment in excellent working condition.
Health, Safety & Standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Adapt recipes to meet specific dietary restrictions.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of service.
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field.
- At least 5 years’ proven experience as a Chef, preferably serving high-profile clients.
- Expertise in both traditional/local dishes and a variety of continental cuisines.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, healthy meal preparation, and food presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and travel.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
