Job duties:

Meal Planning & Preparation

  • Design and execute weekly menus covering local and continental cuisines.
  • Ensure all meals meet the dignitary’s dietary requirements, health needs, and preferences.
  • Prepare meals for official functions, private events, and guests as required.

Food Sourcing & Kitchen Management

  • Procure high-quality ingredients, focusing on freshness, safety, and nutritional value.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, hygiene, and proper food storage.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment in excellent working condition.

Health, Safety & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Adapt recipes to meet specific dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of service.

Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ proven experience as a Chef, preferably serving high-profile clients.
  • Expertise in both traditional/local dishes and a variety of continental cuisines.
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition, healthy meal preparation, and food presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and travel.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
