Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Handling: Conduct foreign exchange transactions for walk-in customers. Process remittances through services such as Instant Cash, EMQ, and Tunes. Issue accurate receipts and obtain mandatory customer signatures.
  • Customer Verification & KYC Confirm identity using valid identification (passport only for instant cash transactions). Ensure the phone number and name in the system match the individual present. Upload all required documents and ensure they meet KYC/AML standards.
  • Compliance & AM Adhere strictly to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies. Report suspicious transactions immediately to the Compliance Officer. Attend mandatory AML training sessions as scheduled (minimum twice a year).
  • Cash Handling: Accurately count, verify, and balance cash at the start and end of shifts. Identify counterfeit or tampered currency. Handle rejected notes manually and do not recirculate without checking.
  • Customer Service: Serve clients professionally and with courtesy. Cross-sell other services such as domestic transfers or utility payments. Address client concerns or escalate issues as needed.
  • Team Collaboration & Professionalism Cooperate with team members and support branch goals. Accept transfers between branches as required by management. Demonstrate punctuality and personal responsibility.
