About Organisation:

Centenary Publishing House Ltd is a Church of Uganda entity entrusted with the responsibility of publishing and distributing Prayer and Hymn books in various local languages, Christian and other liturgical literature in Uganda.

 

Job Summary: Job purpose; To be the focal person for customer invoicing and payments

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Prompt processing of sales transactions
  • Prompt and accurate posting of cash sales in the stem and invoicing of credit sales
  • Periodical reporting of cash and credit sales
  • Ensure proper books of accounts balancing at end of day and month
  • Old customer retention and new customer acquisition
  • Excellent customer care

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years relevant hands-on cash handling work experience in a business environment
  • A least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration
  • Numerical skills
  • Computer literacy
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ability lo work flexible hours, over weekends or public holidays
  • High level of integrity
  • Good English communication skills
  • Strong attention lo detail
  • Ability and willingness to work in different work stations
  • Commitment to Christian values
