Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our dynamic team in Nansana Wakiso. This position plays a crucial role in managing communication and financial transactions within our organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment, possessing a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.

Position Details

•  Employment Type: Full-time
•  Location: Nansana Wakiso
•  Reporting Structure: Reports to the Company Manager
•  Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

1. Answer incoming calls and greet callers, providing information on our services
2. Greet visitors warmly, connecting them to the appropriate staff member
3. Contact security staff using radio-telephones when necessary.
4. Record messages and suggest rewording for clarity or conciseness.
5. Perform various cash handling tasks, including collecting payments.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

•  Education: Post-secondary Diploma in related fields.
•  Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role.
•  Required Skills: Active Listening, Speaking, Social Perceptiveness, Service Orientation, Coordination.
•  Required Knowledge Areas: Customer and Personal Service, Administrative, Computers and Electronics, Telecommunications.

Preferred Qualification

While not mandatory, the following attributes are advantageous:

• Preferred Responsibilities: Answering calls, greeting visitors, and managing cash handling tasks.
• Desired Additional Skills: Service Orientation, Reading Comprehension, Coordination.
• Beneficial Experience: Experience in customer service and administrative roles.
