Job Summary
The Little Cafe is seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join its team in Kisasi. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage transactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive customer experience while accurately handling cash and electronic payments.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for:
• Greeting customers warmly and providing exceptional service.
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Resolving customer inquiries and addressing any issues promptly.
• Maintaining a clean and organized cashier area.
• Ensuring all cash registers are balanced at the end of each shift.
• Assisting with inventory management and restocking as needed.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.
• Following health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role (preferred).
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software (a plus).
• A reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.
