JOB DETAILS:

Minimum Qualification Academic
• Applicants should be Ugandans holding a Diploma in Cartography (Geoinformatics) obtained from a recognized Institution

Working Experience
• Working experience of one (1) year in Cartographic works and processing of Cadastral Surveys.

Duties
• The Cartographer will be responsible to the Senior Cartographer for performing the following duties: To verify the quality of uploaded and processed parcels
• To analyse the parcel geometry and fitness to the topological data parameters and standards;
• To verify orientation of processed parcels including position, boundaries, size and shape using standard cartographic equipment/tools
• To verify the exact positions, measurement of points. elevations, lines, areas, or other features of land in relation to the orthophoto and other available reference layers;
• To prepare and print Cadastral Display Maps for display by the Service Provider
• To cartographically extract the parcel geometry cadastral prints for digital plotting
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to coordinates for digital plotting
