Job Summary:
We are seeking professional and compassionate nurses to join our growing network of homecare providers. The Caregiver Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients, focusing on comfort, well-being, and personalized support. This role requires a licensed nurse with at least two years of experience, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work independently in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care, including monitoring patient health and offering support to enhance comfort and well-being.
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility support based on patient needs.
Offer emotional support and companionship to patients while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Educate patients and families on basic health management and lifestyle practices to improve well-being.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to supervisors and family members.
Ensure adherence to CareGivers Uganda's policies, ethics, and professional care standards at all times
Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid practicing nursing license issued by the respective council in Uganda.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nursing or caregiving.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and families.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a homecare environment.
Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing quality care.
Must be flexible to work in different locations (Kampala, Wakiso, Entebbe, and Jinja).
Familiarity with home healthcare services is an added advantage.
