Introduction
CARE International in Uganda is a leading humanitarian organization dedicated to promoting livelihoods and Women Economic Empowerment. CARE places special emphasis on investing in women and girls based on six decades of experience empowering communities where we work.
CARE International in Uganda with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and in partnership with Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority is implementing a five-year project to strengthen the economic resilience of 340,000 Women through Gender Transformative WEE policy, enterprise growth and accessible markets. Deliver Women's Economic Resilience through Enterprise & Market Systems (DREAMS) Project is being implemented in the Northern and Western Regions of Uganda that is Gulu, Kitgum, Nwoya, Omoro, Oyam, Lira, Bushenyi, Rubirizi, Kabarole, Kyenjojo and Kyegegwa respectively.
Specific objectives of the assignment
To examine the effectiveness of the Proposed Prototype - KOBO TOOLBOX 16*7JJ*15. KOBOTOOLBOX server in:
• Collecting data pertaining to SHGS level and district level to enable digital registration and annual reporting.
• Store the collected data.
• Perform auto analysis of the collected data to address UMRA's regulatory needs.
To pilot and deploy the Management Information System in the Northern and Southwestern regions where the DREAMS Project is currently operating.
To develop a capacity development manual based on the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) for UMRA Staff and DCDOs.

The objective of the consultancy
The overall objective of the assignment is to develop a digital registration, reporting and monitoring and evaluation Information Management System for SHGS.
