Job Overview

The Cage making GW is responsible in assisting in the fabrication, assembly, and repairing of cages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measuring and cutting pipes according to given specifications.
  • Assembling cage components using tools such as butt welding machine, cutters and drilling machine.
  • Operating machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assist the supervisor on Inspecting cages on the lake for any faults
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Performing repairs and modifications on damaged cages when required.
  • Following workplace safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications & Experience

  • UCE or any related technical field
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift materials
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and drawings
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices
