Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Business Management Trainer to deliver training for one or more of the following courses: Sales and Business Development, Job Readiness Skills, or Project Management and Leadership Skills. The trainer will play a key role in delivering impactful sessions, refining curricula, designing assessments, and guiding learners through hands-on projects to develop practical business skills. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in business management, leadership, or career development who are passionate about teaching and mentoring.
Job Description:
1. Training Delivery:
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, either online or offline, adhering to the course syllabus and timelines.
- Facilitate a practical understanding of concepts through real-life scenarios, role-playing, and case studies.
- Use relevant tools (e.g., CRM software, Microsoft Office, or project management tools) during sessions for hands-on learning.
2. Curriculum Development and Improvement:
- Review and refine course content to ensure alignment with industry standards and learner needs.
- Develop comprehensive learning materials, including presentations, handouts, case studies, and project templates.
- Create a structured curriculum that integrates theoretical concepts with practical applications, ensuring learners achieve key outcomes.
3. Assessment Design and Evaluation:
- Design quizzes, assignments, and project guidelines to evaluate participants' understanding of the material.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and presentations, ensuring learners understand areas for improvement.
- Develop final projects for practical application of skills taught in the course, simulating real-world challenges.
4. Mentoring and Learner Engagement:
- Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment by addressing learner queries and providing guidance.
- Offer tailored mentoring sessions to learners who need additional support.
- Encourage participation in discussions, peer feedback, and group activities to reinforce learning.
5. Practical Project Supervision:
- Guide learners through practical projects, ensuring they apply concepts like sales strategy, professional portfolio development, or project planning.
- Provide step-by-step support in project execution, from defining objectives to final presentations.
- Evaluate final projects, highlighting strengths and offering actionable feedback.
6. Continuous Improvement and Reporting:
- Analyze learner performance and provide detailed reports to program coordinators on course effectiveness.
- Suggest curriculum updates or innovative teaching techniques to improve learning outcomes.
- Document best practices and share insights to enhance overall program delivery.
- Must be able to work independently without the supervision of a senior person
- Supporting and coordinating with every function in learning and development to complete the task as a whole.
Desired Candidate Profile/ Required Experience & Qualifications:
1. Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, business development techniques, and CRM tools (for Sales and Business Development courses).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online communication tools (Zoom, Teams) for job readiness training.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), resource allocation, and leadership strategies.
- Must be comfortable using a Learning Management System Extensively.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in business management, leadership, sales, or related fields.
- Proven experience in curriculum design, training delivery, and learner evaluation.
- Experience with mentoring or coaching professionals in an online & offline learning environment.
3. Educational Background:
- A degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, CRM certifications) are an advantage.
4. Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex topics for diverse learner groups.
- Leadership qualities with a collaborative and empathetic approach to teaching.
