JOB DETAILS:

Support the strategic planning for business intelligence and ensure that business reporting, current and future needs conform to Airtel Group standards.

Responsibilities

Reporting

• Ensure that business reports are generated in a timely manner for business and meeting the agreed SLAs
• Give regular insights into BI/Fractal to aid business

Data Analysis

• Use statistical techniques and predictive analytics to forecast future trends and support proactive business strategies.
• Support the strategy and the implementation of the approved data analytics
• To drive/support the business units to arrive at appropriate decision points
• Liaise with the performance and reporting function to ensure the service catalogue is updated for all BI system.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to align data analysis efforts with business goals
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and BI solutions, supporting stakeholders in identifying relevant metrics and KPIs

Person Specification

Education, Training, Skills & Experience

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

• The applicant must hold a Bachelors’ Degree in IT, Computer Science, engineering, data science, or any other relevant field.
• Hands-on experience in SQL, Excel and Linux is a MUST
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modelling and data warehousing

Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience BI & Analytics

Other requirements (Behavioral etc.)

• Excellent communication skills
• Team player and results oriented
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent at programming and SQL
