Position Overview: 

SurePay Limited is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development  Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for  identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving growth for our payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive insights.
  • Analyze market data to develop strategies for business expansion and revenue growth. ∙
  • Business Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Engage with key decision-makers to understand their business needs and propose tailored solutions.

Sales and Business Development: 

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase SurePay's products and services.

Partnership Development: 

  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with financial institutions, technology providers, and other strategic partners.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and collaborate cross-functionally to execute partnership initiatives.

Client Engagement and Support: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the sales process and throughout  the partnership lifecycle.
  • Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. ∙ Market Positioning and Brand Awareness:
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to enhance SurePay's brand presence and  visibility in the market.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote  SurePay's solutions and establish thought leadership.

Reporting and Analysis: 

  • Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to manage client interactions and sales activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. ∙
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of payment solutions, fintech trends, and market dynamics. ∙
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. ∙
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

Preferred Skills: 

  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Experience in partnership management and contract negotiation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the fintech industry. ∙
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
