About Organisation:

Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA) is a Statutory Government Agency established by the Free Zones (Amendment) Act 30 of 2024, and is responsible for the establishment, development, management, marketing, maintenance, supervision and control of Free Zones; the development, promotion and coordination of all export-related activities; and to provide for related matters.

Job Summary: To implement marketing strategies that promote Special Economic Zones.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research new business opportunities for SEZs/EPZs/Free Ports
• Undertake market feasibility studies in public Free Zones/EPZs
• Prepare proposals for resource mobilization for Free Zones projects
• Develop business and project implementation plans
• Monitor investments for financial compliance and reporting requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Honors Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business Administration, Management, Economics or Entrepreneurship
