Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving market expansion within the herbal medicine sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify trends, new markets, and potential customers in the herbal sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and suppliers to foster long-term business partnerships.
- Work closely with the product development team to create new herbal products that align with market demand and consumer preferences.
- Develop and manage budgets for business development initiatives and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, including market research, sales performance, and progress on strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A background in herbal medicine or health sciences is an added advantage.
Desired experience
- At least 1 year of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the herbal, health, or wellness industries.
- Proven track record in identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and driving sales growth.
Key skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, sales processes, and the herbal industry.
- Ability to think strategically and develop creative business solutions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, market research tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
