JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving revenue growth.
Specific Skills
• Strong business acumen and experience in Sales presentation.
• Strong Customer/service orientation and technical know-how.
• Experience in understanding Service level agreement.
• At-least one year experience in sales with relevant sales competencies.
• Presentation and reporting skills.
• Negotiation and customer Facing skills.
• Interpersonal skills(power of persuasion, conviction and well-argued reasoning, proven to maintain and build up relationships and networks with relevant decision makers and stakeholders)
Responsible For
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets by ensuring sales conversions on leads assigned are achieved.
• 100% retention of existing customers assigned on annual basis.
• Expand individual pipeline assigned by looking for new business opportunities and demonstrate having on boarded new customers annually.
• Retention of new customers through to the following year and ensure customer visits are done as required.
• Sales administration: use of CRM when tracking sales activities and closed sales.
• Follow through on technical issues raised by clients assigned to ensure faster resolution by technical team to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that SLA,s agreed upon are delivered timely y the technical team.
• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and potential clients to generate new business in liaison with Business Development Managers
• Explore sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential customers, provide technical information while building lasting relationship with customers.
• Establish and maintain contacts with regulators and umbrella bodies.
• Develop intelligence on the market landscape and dynamics.
• Strategic engagements with customers at C-levels.
• Customer relationship activities i.e. proactive customer engagements.
• Tenders and proposals submissions and organize for meeting and demos
• Response to tenders, RFQ,RFI,s and general inquiries.
• To manage relationship with the existing customers.
Educational Requirements
• Degree in Business administration/sales/Marketing, Information Technology or related fields.
