Job Summary

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for driving the growth of sales by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and ensuring the company meets its revenue and expansion goals.

Job Description/Requirements

The role includes:

1. Identifying New Business Opportunities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and markets for growth.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to discover new opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to enter new markets or expand the company’s footprint in existing ones.

2. Building and Maintaining Relationships

  • Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

3. Developing and Executing Sales Strategies

  • Create and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and company goals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while maintaining profitability.

4. Driving Revenue Growth

  • Monitor and achieve assigned revenue targets within set timelines.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to maximize client value.
  • Develop pricing models and financial forecasts for new business opportunities.

5. Collaborating Across Departments

  • Work closely with marketing teams to create campaigns that attract new customers.
  • Liaise with product development and operations teams to ensure the delivery of solutions that align with client expectations.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to improve products or services based on market insights.

6. Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track business development activities, including leads, opportunities, and sales metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports on progress, challenges, and outcomes for management review.
  • Use CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline and ensure data accuracy.

7. Developing Long-Term Plans

  • Assist in shaping the company’s long-term growth strategy.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for strategic partnerships or alliances.
  • Evaluate risks and potential rewards for new ventures.

8. Staying Informed

  • Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance market knowledge and expand the company’s network.
