About Fluna
Our client, Fluna is a pan-African trade marketplace for African suppliers to access global markets. We have onboarded 300+ exporters and enabled $30m in trade during the last 24 months. Our core products are coffee, soybeans, mangos and avocados. We identify strategic local exporters looking to scale their business and match them with quality buyers and deploy structured financing to solve their working capital needs. Our mission is to expand cross-border trade between Africa and global markets.

Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven analyst to support our buyer acquisition efforts across Europe and the Middle East. This role involves driving market expansion and building strong relationships with buyers of both perishable and non-perishable products, including avocados, pineapples, green coffee beans, mangoes, and other high-quality products sourced from Africa. The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with strategic insights and have a passion for fostering business growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Lead Generation:
• Identify and develop business opportunities for perishable and non-perishable agri produce.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and buyer preferences.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective buyers, including importers, distributors, and retailers, leveraging technology to optimize lead conversion.

Sales Strategy & Account Management:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
• Establish pricing strategies, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts in alignment with company policies and financial objectives.

• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with buyers, serving as a trusted advisor on sourcing, quality assurance, and market trends across all product categories.
• Conduct regular check-ins, follow-ups, and feedback sessions to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:
• Collaborate with internal teams (sourcing, logistics, and finance) to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction, particularly for time-sensitive perishable items
• Provide actionable feedback to internal stakeholders on customer needs, market demands, and quality expectations across all product categories.

• Represent Fluna at industry events, trade shows, and other networking opportunities to showcase our product offerings and build connections.

Qualifications
Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years in B2B sales, preferably within the agriculture industry.
• Experience in selling or distributing Agri products is preferred.

Market Knowledge:
• Familiarity with African agricultural products is ideal.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain requirements.

• Good understanding of trade and import/export activities and regulations.

Skills:
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Proficient in using CRM and other sales tools to manage pipelines and track performance.

• Mindset: Positive, enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and start-up environment.
