Position

An opportunity has arisen in the North Sector Estates Department for a suitably experienced Building Supervisor based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.

What You Will Do

You will lead a team of trade-staff responsible for the delivery of building maintenance services within the hospital environment and community premises.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job

A City & Guilds Craft Certificate/ Level 3 Certificate in a Building related discipline, and equivalent experience of supervisory management is essential. Extensive experience in maintaining critical building elements within a hospital environment including Fire Doors, suspending ceilings, fabric protection, floor covering systems and using a Computer Aided Facilities Management (CaFM) system would be an advantage.

Hours

37 per week

8.00am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 1.00pm Friday

You will also be required to take part in an on call management rota and be able to work at other hospitals within Ayrshire to meet the demands of the service. Due to the requirement to participate in an on call rota it is desirable that the successful applicant should live no more than 30 minutes travelling time from the hospital.

Driving Licence/Car Ownership

Driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
