Job Summary: Chipper is a licensed Broker dedicated to providing innovative trading solutions and exceptional client service. We are seeking a dynamic Brokerage Trading Analyst with financial analytics and sales experience to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier trading services to our clients.
As a Brokerage Analyst and Trading Officer, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing market trends, executing trades, and supporting our Lead Brokerage Manager in driving client engagement. Your expertise in trading analytics and sales will help us enhance our trading strategies and improve client satisfaction
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trading opportunities and trends.
- Collaborate with the Lead Brokerage Manager to develop and implement effective trading strategies for equities and fixed income products.
- Provide clients with timely market insights and trading recommendations.
- Assist in the development of sales presentations and marketing materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their trading needs and concerns
- Act in back up capacity in execution role of the Trader for equities and fixed income securities.
- Preparation of Daily, weekly, Monthly and Annual Market Intelligence reports
- Managing, maintaining and building new and existing client relationships
- Staying abreast of products information, performance and industry changes
- Building a sustainable book of clients in the corporate and retail segments for Chipper.
- Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in equities and fixed income trading, financial analysis, sales in the Capital markets Industry /Investment Banking
- Proficiency in USE trading software and market analysis tools.
- CISI Module I and II
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading products, and investment strategies
- Analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret statistical information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong sales, interpersonal and business-orientated person with the acumen to build client relationships
- Prospecting and Social Selling skills
- Self-driven: Able to work independently
- Relationship management and networking skills
- Team-orientated and Emotional Intelligence
