The Role

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• We're seeking a talented individual who will be able to translate our books from French, English books into Italian (80% french / 20% english).
• Your process begins with Deepl for an initial translation, followed by reading, refining, editing, and harmonizing the text to make it read smooth and coherent for the Italian market. Your role will be able to translate 2 to 3 books (around 60k words each) a month. Though you may Deepl, we still need your language skills to be at least B2 in French and English.

• Passionate Romance Connoisseur: You’re a romance reader and are familiar with romance novels on Amazon. You've journeyed through the world of romance novels, understanding the pulse of what readers crave. Bonus points for being a Kindle romance reader who knows the trends.
• Editor: With your own literary creations and editing experience, you've already left your mark in the realm of storytelling.
• Italian Roots: As a native Italian speaker, you bring the charm of your language to our translations, ensuring a connection with readers.
• Conversational English: Your grasp of conversational English allows you to engage comfortably in our international environment.
• Trustworthy and Independent: Your autonomy and trustworthiness are important to you. You take ownership of your role and contribute to our collective success.
