SUBJECT OF PROCUREMENT:
Design, manufacture, testing, installation, and commissioning of the 11kV Current Transformers at Nalubaale Power Station
UEGCL/SPLS/25-26/23508

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Ltd has allocated funds to be used for the procurement described above.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 205 and regulations 2023 and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at (7) from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at (7) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No. 9030011177327, Stanbic Bank upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The Document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) at or before 11:00am on 10th July, 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 6,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Six Million Only). Bid security must be valid until 30th December, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder's representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (7) at 11:10 am on 10th July, 2026.
