BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
PROCUREMENT NOTICE No. 1 OF FY 2026/2027
Busia Municipal Council invites applications from suitably qualified and competent firms/companies to bid for works, supplies and services in respect of FY 2026/2027 as follows:
CATEGORY 1 - FRAMEWORK CONTRACTS OPEN TO NATIONAL PROVIDERS FOR FY 2026/2027 and 2027/2028.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and is open to all eligible bidders in Uganda.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further Information from the Busia Municipal Council – Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU), and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm during working days.
Bidding documents in English for bidders in category 2 under Special Interest Groups shall be issued free of charge by the PDU at the address below at 7(b) upon request by providers who qualify under the reservation.
The bidding documents in English may be purchased by the other Interested bidders upon request of a PRN (Payment Registration Number) from Busia Municipal Council Revenue Office and payment of non-refundable fees of Ug. Shs: 50,000 through IRAS. After payment, proceed to the PDU at the address below at 7(b), for issue of the Bidding documents.
The terms and conditions for bidding are detailed in the respective bidding documents.
Completed Bids must be delivered, in sealed envelopes to the address below at 7(c) before 11:00 am on the 25th June, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 am, at the address below at 7(d), in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
