BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Supply of Split prepayment smart meter single phase- wireless version Plc-G3 complete solution under framework contract for a period of one year.

1. 1. The Uganda Electricity Distribution Limited has allocated funds for Supply of Split prepayment smart meter single phase- wireless version Plc-G3 complete solution under framework contract for a period of one year.
   2. The Entity Invites sealed bids from eligible bliders for supply of the above.
   3. Bliding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bliding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bliders. This is exclusively reserved for reservation schemes to promote the participation of Local providers in public procurement.
   4. Interested eligible bliders may obtain further information and inspect the bliding documents at the address 7(a) below Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited: Plot 37, Nakasero Road, UEDCL Tower, 4th Floor, UEDCL Tower.
   5. The Bliding documents in English may be purchased by interested bliders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7 (b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USX:200,000. The method of payment will be by depositing money on UEDCL bank account and presentation of a banking slip.
   6. Bids must be delivered to the address above at 8 (c) at or before 18th July 2025, 11:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of:
      LOT 1 - USX:189,673,908 (Uganda Shillings; One Hundred eighty-nine million six hundred seventy-three thousand nine hundred eight only).
      LOT 2 - USX:189,673,908 (Uganda Shillings; One Hundred eighty-nine million six hundred seventy-three thousand nine hundred eight only)

   7. Bid security must be valid until 31st January 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bliders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7 (d) at 11:30am 18th July 2025. There shall be no pre – bid meeting.
