Provision of Staff Group Health Insurance Services

1. DanChurchAid in Uganda (DCA) has allocated funds to be used for Provision of Medical Insurance Services to DCA staff and their dependants.

2. Interested and suitably qualified insurance companies can access and download the Request for Proposal documents from DCA website www.danchurchaid.org. The resulting contract will be a framework contract for a period of one (01) year renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance.

3. 4. Request for Proposal documents obtained electronically from the DCA website and requested via email will be FREE OF CHARGE. Bidders are strongly encouraged to download the documents from the websites listed above.

5. Proposals submitted by email must be limited to a maximum of 10MB, and no more than two email transmissions. They must be free from any form of virus or corrupted contents, or the bids shall be rejected.

6. Bidding will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized bid document and is open to all qualified and interested bidders registered with the Insurance Regulatory Authority. The tender is open to all insurance underwriters only.

7. The other should contain the financial proposal and clearly marked ‘Financial Proposal – DCA/HR-HI/01/07/2025’ (Bidders who will combine both technical and financial proposals shall be disqualified).

8. Deadline for submission of proposals is 15th August 2025 by 12:00 midnight. Late submissions of proposals will be rejected.

10. The Bidder shall chronologically serialize/paginate all pages of the bid documents submitted.

11. DCA is not bound to accept the lowest priced proposal or any proposal that is submitted. Any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
