SOS Children’s Villages is an independent, locally registered, child-focused, social development non- governmental organization with a strong reputation for providing quality care and protection, education, and health needs for vulnerable children. SOS Children’s Villages Uganda seeks to procure tablets and solar power banks, and as such invites proposals from interested, eligible and competent firms to bid through open competitive bidding for the following:

Tablet covers with rugged case, hand strap or shoulder strap inclusive of screen protector
Interested bidders may obtain the detailed bidding documents and instructions from SOS Children’s Villages Uganda National Office, located at Abayita Ababiri, Entebbe, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Shillings Only). Payment should be made by a cash deposit to SOS Children’s Villages Trust account (UGX), Account Number 9030005650010 at any Stanbic Bank branch. After payment, bidders are required to submit the bank deposit slip to the SOS Finance Department at the National Office to obtain an acknowledgement receipt.
Bid issuance dates: Thursday 25th Sept to Friday 10th Oct, 2025 from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Note: Offices remain closed on weekends and public holidays. The deadline for submission of bids is Monday, 13th Oct 2025 by 4:00pm (EAT). Late submissions will not be permitted.
Properly completed bid documents should be delivered to the National Office in a single sealed envelope, recorded in the bid receipt register and addressed to “The Procurement Committee, SOS Children’s Villages Uganda, National Office, Abayita Ababiri, Entebbe” and labeled: Bid for Supply of Tablets and Portable Solar Power Banks: Procurement Reference No: SOS/SUPLS/2025/070
