Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and personable Barman to join our team and deliver outstanding beverage service to our guests. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of drink mixing and bar operations, a friendly and professional demeanor, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to guests at the bar or tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, and operate the POS system.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene procedures.
- Monitor guest intoxication levels and act responsibly to prevent over-serving.
- Assist in creating new cocktail recipes and promotions in collaboration with the bar team.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or barman in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of a wide range of beverages, cocktails, and mixology techniques.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
