Our client is seeking a dedicated Ugandan professional to join their team as a Country Business Development Manager (CBDM) for IT Software Solutions in Uganda. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about expanding market share and establishing strong connections with clients.
Overview: As a CBDM, you'll be responsible for overseeing business development processes to promote company growth. This includes identifying new opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and maintaining client relationships.
Ideal Candidate: We're looking for a self-motivated individual who can:
1. Identify and research opportunities in new and existing markets.
2. Develop business strategies and marketing plans.
3. Manage client databases and relationships.
4. Innovate and oversee the sales process.
5. Collaborate with senior team members to manage company risks.
6. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations.
7. Develop customized proposals for clients.
8. Own the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related field with a Marketing option.
• Certified Business Development Professional credentials preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in business, sales, or marketing.
• Experience in ICT Technologies sales, e.g., IT Software solutions.
• Knowledge of Sage software sales will be an added advantage.
• Extensive network in enterprise and corporate accounts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
