Job Summary:
St. Joseph's Technical Institute - Virika is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy automotive workshop. The successful candidate will ensure that all services are carried out efficiently, maintain high-quality standards, and provide excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Workshop Staff:
Oversee and manage the performance of all workshop employees, including technicians and support staff.

Workflow Management:
Plan, organize, and prioritize work schedules to ensure timely completion of all projects.

Quality Control:
Ensure all repairs and services meet high-quality standards and customer expectations.

Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and professional resolution.

Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels of parts and materials.

Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Financial Oversight:
Monitor and manage workshop expenses, budgets, and financial performance.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on workshop performance and submit them to the business office.

Reports to: The Automotive Workshop Manager reports directly to the principal.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. Additional qualifications in automotive mechanics are an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a management-related field, preferably in the automotive industry.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Customer Focus: A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
