JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the Manager- E Channels Operations, the role holder will be responsible for offsite ATM operations in line with operating guidelines as a means of contributing to quality service delivery.
LOCATION: Kampala

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• ATM Cash replenishment under dual control as per the laid down process flow and within the agreed service levels.
• Reconciliation of ATM accounts as per the agreed frequency and act on any outstanding items. Escalate any exceptions timely to the Manager E-Channels Operations.
• Timely processing of failed ATM transactions and reporting suspicious transactions as per AML/CFT definition of the same.
• Attend to offsite ATMs-related queries promptly and provide an update to the stakeholders on the status.
• Monitoring ATM uptime and action promptly during periods when the ATMs are down.
• Handle ATM Keys and combination as a custodian of the ATM while referring to the operations manual.
• Check ATMs for proper physical security maintenance and report exceptions immediately for resolution.
• Work with the service providers (Cash in Transit and ATM maintenance) to enforce delivery of services as per the service level agreements.
• Escalation of any process gaps that may result in potential or actual loss to the Manager of E-Channels Operations as per the incident reporting policy.
• Contribute towards projects and continuous improvement initiatives that are geared towards automation of processes.
• Manage ATM consumables e.g., journal rolls, and receipt rolls for proper operation of the ATMs and service availability.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Two years of banking experience in cash handling.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities and multi-task well to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks and projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of the back-office operations, procedures, and processes.
• The ability to identify and engage with all the key stakeholders in the organisation.
• Ability to prioritise daily tasks.
• Ability to work with strict deadlines.
• Customer oriented (Internal and external).
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively work within a team-oriented environment.
• Proactive approach to work with a high level of maturity and self-drive.
• Able to work under very demanding deadlines or timelines.
