JOB DETAILS:
Purpose Statement: To engage and participate in work activities that contribute to the attainment of the overall company objectives.

• Monitoring and Evaluation Personnel

Outcome Statement:
• To lead in the designing, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning framework of all programmes implemented by the company and other matters which contributes to the attainment of the company overall goal and objectives.

• Logical Action Steps:
• Develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by relevant projects of Imprint
• Assist in the revision of the project log frame matrix, particularly in the areas of performance indicators and their measurement.
• Assist in the development and/or finalization of the project work plans and keep it updated in accordance with project activities and timeframes as relevant.
• Develop the overall framework, for project M&E, for example mid-term project review, impact assessment, final evaluation, develop project Performance Monitoring Plan with relevant data collection systems.
• Review the quality of existing data in the project subject areas, the methods of collecting it, and the degree to which it will provide good baseline statistics for impact evaluation.
• Develop baseline data for each project component and for all project indicators.
• With collaborating partners, review existing approaches and management information systems and agree on any required changes, support and resources.

• Develop a plan for project-related capacity-building on M&E and for any computer-based support that may be required.
• Monitor all focus area activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the expected outputs
• Organize and undertake training with collaborating/implementing partners on M&E as required.
• Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators. Check data quality with partners.
• Maintain and administer the company’s M&E database; analyse and aggregate findings.
• Support project progress reporting, project mid-term review and final evaluation.
• Identify areas where technical support to project managers required and organize refresher training on M&E as and when required.
• Close monitoring of the dashboard to guide management on any decisions needed
• Achievement of Imprint’s Financial and Internal Processes

• Outcome Statement:
• To efficiently contribute towards achievement of financial and internal processes targets so that Imprint achieve or meet its targets with much focus on CMDs through marketing initiatives, proposal writing and project execution.

• To provide leadership to the team in a manner that empowers them to deliver value adding interventions i.e., identification of new opportunities, report any business risks and taking lead in proposal writing.

• REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
Educational qualifications
• Master’s degree in commerce or public administration and management or accounting and finance or social sciences or business administration or Statistics or Quantity Survey, Environmental Engineering or Quantitative Economics or Economics or Information and Communication Technology or Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university.
• Advanced certificate in M&E, statistics or economics preferred

Job related experience and knowledge:
• Minimum of Three (3) years of professional experience in an M&E position responsible for implementing M&E activities of development projects.
• Demonstrate experience working with private sector, government parastatals and NGOs.
• Experience in strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and performance monitoring plans.
• Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies (e.g. qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies.
• Basic Knowledge, Understanding and willingness to learn Business Consultancy.
• Demonstrated preparedness to get exposure/experience in working in an environment where business reengineering, business management is a key deliverable.
• Sufficient communication skills to present information and communication to appropriate levels of internal (including supervisors) and external and stakeholders.
• Basic experience in Project Management with ability to participate and learn how to initiate and plan for various work projects.

• Proficiency in use of Microsoft programs and report writing.
