Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as Assistant Lecturer. The successful candidate will play a role in supporting the continued establishment and delivery of UTAMU’s mission and core values in the School of Technology, Computing and Engineering.

Position: To fill the role at the level of Assistant Lecturer

Location: Kungu campus

Qualifications:

• • A Master’s degree in Information Technology or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Bachelor of Information Systems from a recognized university.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level (if any)

Responsibilities:

• Conducting lectures and tutorials in the School.
• Developing and delivering innovative and engaging teaching materials.
• Should be conversant with  e-learning platforms.
• Participate in departmental meetings, exam setting, exam moderation and marking.
• Supervise student projects and dissertations.
