Job Title: Assistant Inventory Management Officer
Reports to:Procurement
Salary Scale: UR6
Age limit: Not more than 40 years
Job Purpose:To receive, record and store supplies and office equipment.
Specific Terms of reference
- Receiving and verifying incoming supplies.
- Checking all incoming supplies against order.
- Putting supplies in proper and safe stock location
- Issuing supplies from the store and execute proper forms.
- Taking periodic stock counts in line with set standards.
- Maintaining generally accepted storekeeping standards governing categorisation, billing and records.
- Liaising with Procurement Unit on replenishment and acquisition of materials with respect to lead times and delivery details.
- Advising Management on unserviceable, obsolete and unwanted materials in store with the view of disposing of the same.
Academic Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Business Studies, majoring in stores or procurement or related field.
- Possession of an Honors Degree in procurement or Business Administration majoring in procurement or Logistics & Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
- Must have experience of at least three years (3) in a reputable organisation.
