Background information about the job or company:

The Assistant Commissioner, Road Transport Regulation and Safety will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of road transport policies, safety, and regulations in Uganda.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in the formulation of road transport policies, laws, and programs
• Coordinating road safety research and awareness programs
• Managing staff and assets of the division
• Preparing plans, budgets, and reports

Qualifications:

• Honours Bachelor’s Degree in specified fields
• Masters Degree in Transport Management or related field
• Minimum of 9 years relevant working experience

Experience needed:

Minimum of 9 years relevant working experience, with 3 years at Principal level in Government

5. e)Those who fail to get a recommendation should proceed and submit and also indicate a reason on their application as to why they were not recommended.
