Job Purpose
A Senior Assistant Business Development Manager is the key relationship holder, overseer, go between and Manager between the Customer “Distributor” and the Opps team, Finance team, HQ staff to mention but a few. As a Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with our clients ie distributors and sales Managers, and developing strategies to expand our market presence. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, meeting sales targets, ensuring the call center has up to date distributor customer data and contributing to the new business efforts of 4G Capital.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Formulation of the annual audit plan in accordance with the 1. Manage the ongoing relationships with Customers, Distributors and respective Sales Managers
• Collect full legit customer data records from distributors on an ongoing basis to ensure the call center has live and accurate data.
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers and partnerships- or, new ways of reaching existing markets.
• Generate leads and cold call prospective Distributors.
• Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
• Generate new business that leads to an increased client base through lead conversion.
• Provide KUZA specific training to Distributors and their staff to assist in customer conversion.
• Assist in marketing activities.
• Accurate and timely reporting of Management Information and market feedback to report on customer preferences, trends, and market opportunities.
• Performing such other tasks and duties as the Company may from time to time designate as forming part of the Employee’s job description.
• Carry out Route Accompaniments in trade with Distributor staff and held with Conversions of trade customers.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• 2 Monthly Number of accounts closed
• 2k data monthly collected on the assigned portfolio
• Monthly Home Market clean up

• Experience in Customer facing experience on B2B or B2C for a minimum of 2 or 3 years in business development
• Experience background in sales & marketing with previous engagement with FMCG, financial institutions, fintech companies will be an added advantage
