JOB DETAILS:
• Salary Scale: PU10 (Non-Teaching, Non-Science)
• Reports to: Finance Officer

• Job Summary:
The Assistant Accountant will support the University’s financial operations by maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

• Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and process financial transactions.
2. Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
3. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.

• Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an added advantage.
3. Knowledge of financial management systems.

Suitably qualified and interested persons should submit six (6) hard copies of the application consisting of the following:

• Letter expressing interest in the job;
• Recent passport size photographs attached to each copy of the application;
• A detailed and up to date Curriculum Vitae signed and dated by the applicant;
• Certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates;
