• Purpose:
To provide safe and effective anaesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures and ensure high standards of patient care in the operating theatre.

• Responsibilities:
o Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgeries and medical procedures.
o Assess patients before surgery to determine risks associated with anaesthesia.

o Maintain and operate anaesthetic machines and equipment.

o Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure safe procedures.
o Maintain records of anaesthetic care provided.
o Participate in the training and mentorship of healthcare staff on anaesthesia techniques.

• Qualifications and Experience:
o Diploma in Anaesthesia from a recognized institution.
o Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council.

o At least 2 years of experience in providing anaesthesia services.

1. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant posts that exist in Arua City Local Government on a replacement basis.
