Job Summary:

The Airline Customer Service Instructor trains students to deliver exceptional customer service in the aviation industry, equipping them with the skills to handle passengers, resolve issues, and uphold airline standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs for airline customer service roles.
  • Teach communication skills, conflict resolution, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Train students in airport operations, including check-in, boarding, and baggage handling.
  • Provide knowledge of airline policies, ticketing systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct role-playing exercises and simulations to enhance practical skills.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure training materials are current and aligned with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in airline customer service or training.
  • Certification in airline customer service or training (e.g., IATA Customer Service Certification).
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, ticketing systems, and airport procedures.
  • Excellent teaching, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of cultural diversity and sensitivity in customer service.
  • Experience in training or adult education is an advantage.

All instructors should also possess:

  • Strong proficiency in English (oral and written).
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in training tools and software.
  • A passion for teaching and mentoring students to achieve their career goals.
