JOB DETAILS:
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Act as the Company’s first contact with the outside world, to receive customers and enter their names into the system after verifying that membership is valid and current.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
1. Ensure that you give the clients a positive and receptive welcome.
2. Ensure members are attended to as soon as they come to the Health Centre.
3. Ensure that clients who are ushered in to see the doctor are valid members and are entitled to out- patient services.
4. Ensure general running of the reception area in terms of service provision, equipment and cleanliness.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Welcome all members and usher them to the next stop.
2. Ensure membership of the client is valid before treatment, if not; inform the client that he/she has to pay.
3. Provide information to a client in case of any queries.
4. Print ARN forms.
5. Receive co-payment fee from staff members and their dependants or other clients as required.
6. Establish solutions to clients’ problems. Follow such problems to the end until the client is satisfied.
7. Receiving and dispatching parcels.
8. Booking and confirming appointments.
9. Manning incoming calls and channel them to their receptive recipients’.
LEVEL OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Degree / Diploma in Business related areas or Social Sciences.
OTHER COMPETENCIES:
Ø Should have strong communication and presentation skills.
Ø Demonstrated maturity in areas of integrity, credibility and trust.
