Administration Officer | Family Intervention Service | Cairns

  • Employment Term: Maximum Term to 31 January 2027, Part-Time (45.6 hours per fortnight)
  • Location: Cairns
  • Remuneration: $38.65 p/h + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team We are seeking an Administration Officer to provide a range of high level and quality administrative and financial functions to support the management and operational team the UnitingCare’s Family Intervention Service’s (FIS) team based at our Cairns Office.

As a key support role to the delivery of our services, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations are run efficiently.

The Key Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Provide a range of general administrative activities which require initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Diary and meeting management and coordination of travel arrangements
  • Undertake the processing of a range of general financial functions including petty cash, payment of accounts.
  • Maintaining quality processes and procedures
  • Document preparation including human resource forms, reports, presentations and submissions

What makes a difference for us?

  • Minimum 2 years providing administrative support and assistance to management.
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration, Event Management or other relevant qualifications
  • You will have demonstrated ability to provide administrative support at a high level with good communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Have the capacity to identify and resolve issues and a willingness to learn.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
