Job Title: Actuarial Support Officer

Reports to: Head of Operations

Job Scope:

The ability to work under pressure is an added advantage because of the growing business and increased expectation continuously to excel.

Principal Account-abilities: 

Resolution of commission queries

• Review actuarial data prepared

• Analyse data components as expected

• Share monthly actuarial liability estimate

• Report on findings speaking to profitability, costs associated with events

• Lead on yearly actuarial valuation process

Other duties

• Any other duties as assigned

Core Competences Required: 

• University degree with excellent grades in Actuarial Science

• At least 2 years’ experience in the role

• Excellent report writing

• Ability to prioritize tasks and activities

• Ability to successfully work in a high activity, fast paced environment

• Ability and willingness to learn
