BID INVITATION NOTICE
Kabale Municipal Council invites sealed bids from eligible bidders under open bidding for acquisition of 3 hectare Land for a cemetery and garbage disposal Plant located in a flat or gently sloping area within a radius of not more than 20km from the Municipal Council, with a freehold title, accessible by road, low water table and not within close proximity to human settlement.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic bidding method contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act.
NOTE:
- Interested bidders may obtain further information from Kabale Municipal council Procurement and Disposal unit and inspect the bidding documents from 9:00 am to 8:00 P.M during working hours from Monday to Friday.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased from the Head Procurement and Disposal Unit of KABALE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of U.SX 19,000 paid through Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS) using PRN issued by Finance Department and obtain a General Receipt which shall be attached to the bidding document.
- The document shall personally be delivered and no liability shall be accepted for loss or late delivery.

Additional Procurement Details:
- The selected bidder must ensure compliance with all environmental and zoning regulations applicable to land use for cemeteries and waste disposal facilities.
- The land must be surveyed and verified by the Municipal Council’s engineering team before final acquisition.
- Bidders are encouraged to conduct a site visit to assess suitability and accessibility.
- Payment terms and conditions will be outlined in the final contract, subject to approval by the Solicitor General.
