Job Description/Requirements

Best Ceramics Uganda Limited was established in Uganda in 2016, headquartered in Kampala plot 130-138 and 140-148,7th street industrial area and affiliated to Sunda International group of companies founded in 2000 in Guangzhou China. The company deals in various products under Building Materials (BMMC), Fast Moving Consumable Goods (FMCG) and Household/Hardware Material (HHMC).

 

We are in need of an Accounts officer with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in accounts and finance related work respectively to work under the Accounts department.

 

Position Purpose

Under the arrangement of the financial supervisor, members of the financial specialist team jointly complete the daily accounting processing of SAP/ERP/POS, review OA, submit bank information, connect with customers and sales customer service, etc., and the team members report the work results to the financial supervisor respectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry on SAP/ERP/POS.

Entering of daily transactions into SAP/ERP/POS systems.

Issuing of cheques and other payment vouchers.

OA Reviews/Audit/Approval.

Approve OA, ensuring accuracy of text, cost center, G/L account etc.

Review and audit OA’s for efficiency and accuracy.

Submit Document to Bank.

Process and deliver Documents to Banks and other external departments.

Sales and Receivables.

Sales Order approval, Enter cash receipt in POS.

Customer account updates and reviews.

Scan cheques and send to bank, update cheque status in POS.

Education, Professional & Work Experience

The candidate must at least have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance)

 Related job experience (More than 1-year experience in customer)

 Industry experience (2 years)

 

Professional Knowledge

 Proficient (MS Excel)

Familiar (Accounting Software)
